You Ruined Your Own Reputation

A vengeful poem

Sometimes I feel guilty for tarnishing someone else’s name, but then I remember that if they had not abused me, they would not be called out.

If you don’t want your reputation ruined, don’t do things worth being ruined over. It’s pretty simple in my opinion.

Regardless, here is a poem I wrote while wrestling with the morality of my words.

I haven’t been able
To stop putting
The pen to paper
And shredding you,
Desecrating your
Memory.
I can’t yet move on;
You haven’t stopped
Haunting me,
Now haunting them,
You will haunt her.
I can’t watch
As she is torn apart;
I know I’ll be there,
In the aftermath.
Someone has to
Remind your victims
They are strong
Once you’re gone.
Someone has to
Stop you.
I haven’t figured out
Any logistics,
Instead just keep
Crafting and drafting
The plan to end this
Once and for all.
