Dirty Girls’ Disease

A Poem

They told me
I was sick
Because I let you
Find a home
Deep inside me.

They told me
I must be dirty,
Sex with demons,
Sip this clean juice,
Have you tried yoga?

Is this pain
Ripping me -
Ripping us -
Apart, really just
Psychosomatic?

If you are a fan of this poem or my poetry in general, I invite you to check out both of my poetry collections, including my most recent publication ‘When I Bleed: Poems about Endometriosis.’ You can kind it https://amzn.to/32uWRPv or anywhere you buy your poetry!
