A Poem about EMDR

It is strange
The snapshots of moments
I have collected
With the people
I have loved;
And there have been
A lot.

Each moment a kaleidoscope
Of polaroids and VHS clips,
Of safety nets and free falls,
Never quite the memory I expect
When I go searching
For those I have loved.
