It’s Monday again. And not only is it Monday, but it’s also the Monday of Impeachment week. If you thought we would be less stressed about the state of our nation after January 20th, you were wrong. That’s okay though because I have some tips on how to build self-care into the stressful week ahead.

Schedule it in advanced

If you have a planner or a bullet journal, then you should schedule your self-care; this should be your very first step. Having your self-care routine as a part of your day makes it that much more likely it will get done.

If I didn’t have my self-care penciled into my calendar, I would forget it more often than not. Crossing self-care off my list once it is completed gives me a sense of accomplishment on top of the self-care itself. Self-care is the one ‘chore’ that I will never skip.
